Mom just added a new video of Oz and Gully, high flying for the frisbee. Well high flying in Collie terms that is. All my footage mysteriously ended up on the cutting room floor.  Hummmm... I thought I did quite a nice job of ducking everytime the frisbee was thrown my way.

Well what a morning I'm having.  I was laying next to the bathtub, while Mom took her bath.  Normally it's the spot to be and I have to fight off both Oz and Gully for this prime location.  Wish they'd beaten me for it this morning.  I was snoozing there next to her, dreaming about chasing rabbits, when I heard a loud THUD, followed closely by an ominous SPLASHING sound.  I looked up just in time to see this big wave of water break over my head.  Argh! I'm looking for a new spot tomorrow morning, that's out of the splash zone.

Any Xena fans out there?  Mom, made up this lil' diddy for Gully, based on the Joxer the Mighty song from Xena.  This one's almost as bad as the one she made up for Maddie, my lil' Cairn Terrier sidekick, that was set to "Moon River". The entire lyrics consisted of Maddie's name over and over. It was truly inspiring. :wink: Makes me glad she hasn't made up one of these things in tribute to me. 'Sides I actually prefer Cyndi Lauper's voice to Mom's anyway.

Brady Bunch Rule#5: Never play ball in the house

Mom's been breaking this rule all winter with the Collies, because of the neverending cycle of rain that prevents the yard from drying up.  Says she's tired of mopping up muddy paw prints everyday. Make that Muddy Gully paw prints. Oz and I somehow manage to go outside and tip toe around all the mud puddles.

She found out the wisdom of that Bradyism last night (was there ever a doubt?), when she hurled the ball from the bedroom, through the den, into the kitchen.  The ball didn't quite clear the kitchen countertop and took out 2 glasses on its way to the kitchen floor.  Loud CRASH and glass scattering all over the floor.  She raced to beat the Collies to the kitchen, frantically screaming "DON'T GO IN THE KITCHEN!!" ... "DON'T GO IN THE KITCHEN!!" 

It worked. The Collies are now afraid to go in the kitchen. Ah I love it! All the dropped food is now mine, at my leisure. Maybe I should suggest some more Brady Bunch rules for them to break. :D

Oh you guys are not going to believe this.  Mom left Oz alone all day with a full opened box of treats.  Well within his grasp. And lord knows with that loooonnnnnggg slim Collie nose of his, he wouldn't have had any trouble yanking some out of the box. But noooooooo... Didn't take not a one. I tell ya, something's just not right about that boy.
